I hate topping the previous post so soon, because it's a hugely important story -- one which may lead us to Trump's real secret. But I'd like to say one word about the released Cohen audio that everyone's talking about.
Contrary to the WP, I think that the phrase "our friend David" does not refer to David Pecker. It refers to "David Dennison," the alter ego of Donald Trump (and, it is said, Elliott Broidy). The exact quote: "I need to open up a company for the transfer of all of that info regarding our friend, David."
"REGARDING." Not "to." Cohen's company dealt with information about a David.

The other question to ask is related to the Charlottesville comment. Both Trump and Cohen reference "Charlottesville". This is discussion took place 10 months before the Charlottesville Rally of 2017. So, what does this Charlottesville comment reference???
Sorry - they reference Charleston not Charlottesville. That said, what is the "Charleston thing".
They reference Charleston. What they were talking about, I don't know.
The Charleston came from Juba Pattin' or Hambone but was really a mix of the Jay-Bird and the Black Bottom. There are many Charlestons but these humble quarters considered Jean Renoir's Sur une air de Charleston" to be the best (regardless of the Aljolsonesque bad taste)
One legal analyst on MSNBC was of the opinion that hearing long-time Trump accountant Allen Weisselberg mentioned will give prosecutors enough to bring Weisselberg in as a witness which would be extremely damaging to Trump. Not being a lawyer, I'd have thought the he would have been an important witness based on his close association with Trump.
Weisselberg started out working for Fred Trump and has been a key figure in much of Donald's business. It's hard to see the 70 year old accountant-turned-executive not cooperating with prosecutors.
And just half an hour ago, Weisselberg has been subpoenaed to testify in the criminal probe of Michael Cohen!
