As you probably know, a Kenyan man has offered 40 goats and 20 cows for Chelsea Clinton's hand in marriage. How does that translate into dollars? According to my research, you can get a top-quality goat for a hundred bucks. A large Holstein steer goes for under $75. Thus, Chelsea's hand is worth $5,500. Personally, I'd marry someone for a $2000 Cintiq drawing tablet, which I guess makes me a slut.

How does 5,500 in Kenyan dollars translate to US dollars? Probably not as favorable to the US as it used to.
I married a guy who was good in bed. I think that might make me a slut too.
Anon for obvious reasons ;-)
According to state.gov
[http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/2962.htm]
The average income in Kenya is $680, so $5500 is about 8.1 years worth of income, which in the US would be about $321,000.
