This Israeli piece (in poor English, though on a Hebrew language site) tries to warn the world that "The terrorists are coming for YOU next." If we don't stop them in Gaza, they'll soon be on your front doorstep. Yada yada. We've heard this song before -- in a place called Iraq.
Here's the fun part:

The coverage of the Olmert boast can also be debated. The Daily Telegraph reports that "Olmert snaps his fingers and Bush comes running".
The Palestinian Information Center refers back to Sharon's alleged yelling at Peres in October 2001 that they shouldn't mind about incurring American displeasure because "Jews control America". This was sourced at the time to a Hebrew-language broadcast on Kol Yisrael radio, but I'm unaware of anyone posting an actual audiofile. Since you'd have thought one of the Arab foreign offices would carry out proper monitoring of Israeli radio, the whole story comes with a very strong warning as to possible falsehood. It's quite possible that the broadcast never took place.
But it's interesting to note the context, namely the issue of a ceasefire, during the post-911 armoured assaults on the West Bank.
That was very similar to the context of the 2009 Olmert-Bush conversation, during the current armoured assault on Gaza.
