The Scottish experiment

A reporter in Scotland visited a "spy shop" and tried out a low-rent personal listening device, similar to the one we've posited in the case of George W. Bush. Guess what? The earpiece was nearly invisible -- but one could see a subtle bulge between the shoulder blades. Sound familiar?

Wonderful blog - Regarding our Scottish reporters notion that the President would have access too much more sophisticated and thus undetectable devices.

While this might seem obvious it is not necessarily true, very often when a President is indulging in less than scrupulous if not downright illegal activities access to technology the use of which is often accompanied by strict record keeping may not be possible or desirable.

Conceivably someone in this administration might have felt the need to go down to the local corner spy shop and purchase the equipment with cash.

Also one must note that the Bush Administration has not been noted for neither subtleness nor genius and seems to depend more on the big lie.
