This post has nothing whatsover to do with THAT movie

Josh Marshall wrote the following on September 14:
The cauldron of Israeli politics has been swirling of late with the notion that Defense Minister Ehud Barak has put his chips (both for the future and with respect to Iran) on Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu has put his on Mitt Romney. And as the Prime Minister increasingly works to unseat President Obama, opposition leaders have started to ask who Bibi is more intent on ousting, Ahmadinejad or Obama?

Now comes word that Netanyahu will give an exclusive interview this weekend to Meet The Press, which gives you your answer. Netanyahu is tripling down on a Romney presidency and will do whatever he can to make it happen.
Let me repeat: This post has nothing at all to do with the movie everyone is talking about. If you see a connection, it exists only in your mind, not in mine.

Well I'm glad you cleared that up...

I will say that just amongst my own circle I've started to see some Jews voice that they can't support a candidate who doesn't support Israel, meaning Obama. The very first I've seen in the past 5 years. Since Obama has always been a sloganeer that everyone just projects all these convictions on, I was baffled last time around by all the Jewish support and I'm just as baffled now by the assertions he's anti-Israel.

Not to hijack, but have you seen the latest in the saga of Romney's stolen tax returns?

Turns out the amounts "donated" to the bitcoin accounts form a binary code which, when translated into ASCII gives three URLs, one being an encrypted RAR file, the other two being clues to other URLs, one of which is a sound file which is white noise but contains pointers to a Google Maps (UK) URL for "815 Brazos St #500, Austin, TX 78701, USA" and the date 9/10/12, presumably 9th Oct. Four companies are listed at that address, all being Bitcoin mining, trading or investment firms.

Probably just tricksiness, but who knows.

I take your point. The whole scheme a little crude for an intelligence agency. Quite a good case for an "unofficial channel" (either US or Israeli or whoever) being responsible.

You mean the relationship between Bibi and Mitt has nothing to do with the film "The Master"?
