On a serious note...

I just heard that Ted Kennedy collapsed during the inaugural luncheon. That is a bad omen indeed. I am certain that the thoughts of all readers are with him, and I hope he recovers soon.

I can't think of anything sadder.

So was Senator Byrd - had trouble eating during lunch, and was taken to a hopsital.

The disappointment from the inauguration speech must have been to much for their supporting hearts.

Wish them both well, but I know far too much about their hidden lives and illegal activities to feel personal sorrow.

But two of them is not a good omen for the beginning of a "new era" (coughs) in American politics.

Yes it really brings tears to my eyes, when a mega-rich parasite from a criminal-political family collapses at a freebie lunch.

Meanwhile, the Zionists are recruiting an "army of bloggers," to be made up of Israelis who speak a second language, to represent Israel in "anti-Zionist blogs".'. So says their 'Immigration Absorption Ministry'. They must be so anxious to get respectful intellectual attention from their enemies! These people know that when it really comes down to it, there is zero case to support what they're arguing for. Amoral hypocrites. Maybe this is true of all 'fanatics'?

For some reason, this is the sort of thing that makes me want to get my own blog...if I didn't have so much else on my plate... Not because I would want to deal with such scumbags, but perhaps I'd get off on the idea that these racists were clamouring to get in and do their dirty stuff, but weren't allowed?

But never mind me. I think what this heralds is a stepping-up of intelligence-gathering and counter-intelligence ops against those who speak out against the interests that control the west. And these and their consequences can be stepped up. We don't really live in a perpetual present, or after the 'end of history'.

Capitalism is getting more so. Lies and hypocrisy and ignorance are getting worse, as the influence of the decent types falls through the floor.

This isn't just a 'recession'. Forget comparisons with what's happened in your lifetime if you're under 75. This is the start of a depression as in 1873++ and 1929++, both of which coincided with periods of great industrial-technological revolution. Economics is what Fredy Perlman called a "moron's paradise", but it's renvealing that there is no accepted academic definition of 'depression'. Someone in Scandinavia recently spoke to me of the "conjunctural situation". it seems there's a great deal of circumlocution.

You'd have thought mass unemployment, wage cuts, degradation of health and housing provision, widespread extreme indebtedness, homelessness, many people losing what paltry savings they have, the further removal of anything that passes for proper social security worthy of the name, and the geeing up of any arsehole who enjoys treading on other people (whether criminally, or with the full backing of the State and the law behind him or her, or any mixture of the two - a despotism of the kind that's the most important characteristic of fascism), ascendant social atomisation etc. were not so hard to put the finger on...

Apropos ignorance and racist-mindfuck propaganda blog ops: the ADL is celebrating that only 22% of Americans think that Jews control Hollywood, while asserting that that figure is far too high and must be lowered. The proposition is 'dangerous', apparently. Kind of like saying Italian interests control the ice cream trade in Glasgow? Or Chinese gangsters control heroin in the West End of London? But they do, they do!

Once upon a time, Jemima Khan, née Goldsmith and then married to Imran, wrote in the Guardian that...you-know-who controls you-know-what. The editor (can't remember whether it was Peter Preston or Alan Rusbridger) was forced to apologise in the paper the next day. I've never known any other 'serious' proposition get such a quick rebuttal in a newspaper at such a high level. Clearly it is considered dangerous by some.

(I recall how the Sun crowed at former boxer Frank Bruno's sad mental collapse and then, misjudging their market [readers obviously weren't quite as racist as they'd thought] had to apologise very quickly. But although they had acted disgracefully and their fulsome apology was welcome - Bruno has probably never punched anyone other than another consenting professional in a boxing ring; he's no Mike Tyson in that respect - that wasn't commentary on a social issue...)

The ADL's Foxman says about the film Defiance that he is "unsure how [it] would be judged by Jewish viewers [and was] not certain whether we are ready to embrace fighting Jews".

Like yeah, right.

Things are a-changing. Part of the drift was the overturning of the Z=R policy at the UN. Very powerful Jewish influence is coming more into the open, at the same time that massive effort is being made to suppress consequential mention of it, is the long and the short of it. The first may be true of Chinese influence in some far eastern countries and further afield from China than that too. The second? I doubt they bother. The west is schizoid as hell and ever more so.
