Can Franken pull off a win?

Norm Coleman's lead keeps shrinking. Right now, he's only 174 votes ahead.

But the earliest counted counties are Democratic strongholds. Franken was expected to make progress there and go ahead. The later counted counties are almost entirely Republican. Coleman is expected to regain some ground on those.

OTOH, those later counties are also wealthier with better machines. They are likely to have missed fewer votes the first time around. There's hope for Franken, but don't let the early gains mean too much.

Joe,
I can't help but wonder, being a fan of oddball (and especially scatalogical or slang vocabulary, which is often oh-so-descriptive and inventive) if you also learned the medical term for a one-ball man via the link provided, or if you were ahead of the uni-testicular curve on this particular subject.
Anyhows, as one who has, since elementary school, harbored a morbid fascination with Nazis, thanks for the info, link and perspective!
