“Sen. Obama didn’t fill out these state Senate questionnaires — a staffer did — and there are several answers that didn't reflect his views then or now,” Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for Obama’s campaign, said in an e-mailed statement. “He may have jotted some notes on the front page of the questionnaire at the meeting, but that doesn't change the fact that some answers didn't reflect his views. His 11 years in public office do.”
I wasn't there. Maybe a staffer did fill out the questionaire. A minor mistatement at worst. Who cares? I can tell you one thing--I have never trusted Hillary Clinton. I will still vote for her if she wins the nomination. Which she won't.
Somewhat off-target & therefore removeable, but let me ask you this.
Have you ever seen a more personal, content-free and bitter nomination fight? I have followed 10 general elections now - since 1968 - and I do not think anything has been this bad. Sure, Carter and Kennedy hated one another, but not like this.
