Tanner resigns -- congrats to Brad Friedman

Those who doubt the power of blogs should consider this:

The controversial head of the DoJ Civil Rights Division, Voting Section, John Tanner, finally resigned from his position as of 11am ET this morning...
BradBlog was the first venue to break the story of Tanner's racist and indefensible "minorities die faster" comments.

Also: This New York Times article on the fearsome problems besetting Ohio's electronic voting machines conveys data first reported by Brad Friedman. The man deserves a round of applause.

He deserves more than that. As you have previously pointed out, he deserves our financial support, as well.
