Buzzflash and AfterDowningStreet have belatedly decided to inform readers that the warmongering parts of the Iran bill were stricken before passage. Of course, I had mentioned that fact on the 26th, as had Josh Marshall.
(And before you comment, read what I said at that time. I probably have already covered the Important Stuff you think I don't yet know about.)
Certain Progressive Purists, it seems, would rather spend a few days whipping up Dem-Hate based on false or incomplete information -- and only afterward will they deign to publish a small-print retraction. This is precisely the same disingenuous tactic used by the right-wing propagandists until recently.
