Is this video real?

This video allegedly contains excerpts from a Palestinian children's show in which a Mickey Mouse figure teaches the ways of jihad to small kids. A commenter on D.U. writes: "On satellite here (in the UAE), we get virtually all the media from the arab world and I have never seen anything like this." I cannot imagine Israeli authorities allowing a program of this sort to penetrate the airwaves -- unless they had an ulterior motive for doing so.

On the other hand, this video does seem to present excerpts from a continuing production. And I doubt that any U.S. propagandist could have come up with so weird and trippy a production. Do you think they fill up an entire show with this stuff, or does Mickey ever say "And now for a cartoon..."?

Of course, if (say) Arabs ever took over Texas, I can see how the Yellow Rose Resistance might distribute similar videos to kids living under occupation. The only differences: Mickey Mouse would be joined (or replaced) by Jesus, and there would definitely be cartoons.

Anyone else out there old enough to remember the time anti-war Yippies "took over" Tom Sawyer Island in Disneyland? They advertised their escapade with a pamphlet displaying Mickey Mouse holding a machine gun.

Check out Memri TV sometime. They have taken on the task of monitoring Jihadist broadcasts, posting them on their site, and providing transcripts. Here's a clip from the same show, and here's a transcript of it.

It might be shocking, but how can we understand these people living under the occupation of the Zionist. It's only the result of the illegal occupation of their country. These people are at war for their survival. And I'm sure we have the same kind of material in the fundamentalist Jew movement about the "evil Muslims" on the other side of the 20 feet high barrier.

I have a nice collection of US propaganda cartoon during WW2 with Bugs Bunny and the evil Japanese or the big fat German. It was quite similar. The people who try to indoctrinate kids in their war are simply despicable.
