Among the fallen

This picture attracted much attention when it appeared on MSNBC.

The name on the grave appears to read "James John Regan." An Army Ranger by that name fell not long ago; you can read about him here and here. He had served double tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, and had earned a bronze star and a purple heart. He was engaged to marry a young woman named Mary McHugh. The Regan family remains supportive of the Iraq war.

I hate Karl Rove. No other "man" has done more to make saying, "This war is wrong" synonymous with not just anti-patriotism, but with "death-by-terrorist."
