Wheat gluten from China

The poison pet food scare threatens to become a poison people scare, now that we know that the toxic Chinese wheat gluten was human grade. The best "home-spun" research into the matter can be found on this D.U. page, where we learn that the Chinese company in question, Xuzhou Anying, advertises wheat gluten for sale on this site, using these words:
It is a good soluble protein, containing fifteen amino acid essential for human body. After all, it can yet be regarded as a plant protein food looking good, smelling good and tasting good.
And leaving good-looking corpse. After all.

One D.U. commentator suggests that the tainting is intentional: "They have our jobs. They own our paper. They might just want us off of THEIR property."

A DKos diary hypothesizes a link to Archer-Daniels Midland (he's also following along the DU thread). This is spooky business.

Apparently, Kos didn't like that piece, because it is gone.
