After writing the post below, I have come to favor instituting the draft so that we may escalate the number of troops. Provisos: The draft shall apply only in those states which went Republican in 2000 and 2004. The costs shall be met by increased taxes on the citizens of those states.
When Bush's supporters bear the cost of Bush's misbegotten war, the rest of us will say: Praise Jesus!
