Foley the Dem: Fox lies
From BradBlog. When Dems regain control of congress, this should be reason enough to revoke dear old Rupert's broadcast license. The bastards deserve NO MERCY.

There's absolutely no doubt that, if sanity ever returns to this country, we must do something about the MSM. This problem goes way beyond Murdoch and Fox. (We shouldn't forget that when the 2004 exit polls were coming in with Kerry leading, Murdoch on his yacht confidently stated that they were wrong, which convinces me that he knew the fix was in.)
The NYT and WP and Newsweek and ABC/Disney are all complicit in this nightmare we share. Sadly, the only publication seemingly immune to Rove's power has been Rolling Stone, the quintessential countercultural magazine survivor from the 60's. Even such stalwarts as Atlantic and Harpers and Mother Jones have been curiously silent on the 9/11 conspiracy and e-machine vote theft.
I don't know where to start, but restoring the Fairness Doctrine, which Reagan got rid of, would help. Personally, I'd like to see all the right-wing commentators strung up, but there's no law, unfortunately, against sleaze and whoring.
Beyond that, centralized corporate ownership has to be shattered, I think. But I'm open to ideas.
While we're at it, let's see if we can de-bunk the simply "over-friendly" spin. We can do this by counting the number of "overly-friendly" contacts he made with female Page's. I suspect not many, if any. This should raise an eyebrow or two with regard to workplace discrimination. That should get more women to tune in to this issue.
