Keith Olbermann

Twenty, thirty, forty years from now, journalists will no longer point to Edward R. Murrow's scolding of McCarthy as the great moment of their profession. They will point to this.

One does get the feeling lately that someone has given Olbermann full permission to say what he believes.

I thank him for saying all that. I hope more people will toss off their muzzles because there's a lot more "how dare you's" out there that need saying.

When I heard his last rant, my thought was that he wants to get fired so he can go back to espn sports. OTOH, maybe he's just po'ed that Jon Stewart is getting all the press.
