California voting

dr. elsewhere here

Readers in the Bay Area may want to know about this, which I just received via email (thanks, GJ!):

This week Professor Mark Crispin Miller, author of Fooled Again, How the Right Stole the Election in 2004 and Will Steal It Again, will be presenting lectures in the Bay Area.

This event is being held at the following locations:

May 4, 2-4 pm, Book Passage, 51 Tamal Vista, Corte Madera
May 4, 7:9:30 pm, Grand Lake Theater, 3200 Grand Avenue, Oakland
May 5: 7:8:30 a.m. KQKE Will and Willie Show, Hotel Vitale, 8 Mission, SF
May 6: 3-5 pm, Mill Valley Community Center, 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley

If you want the facts of what happened in 2004, backed up with ample evidence, come see this presentation.

The situation has not improved, in fact, it has worsened because of the rush throughout the country to implement the Help America Vote Act (HAVA). HAVA was pushed through by Ohio's Senator Ney, the same Senator now known to have taken over $200,000 in campaign contributions from Diebold Election Systems. In essence, HAVA codified, and is paying for with taxpayer funds, the tricks used in 2000 and 2004 to disenfranchise voters and their votes: centralized voter registration databases, and the use of hackable electronic voting systems. The sanctity of our vote transcends every other issue, for all other issues are determined by who is in political power.

Spread this info around, and take a friend. Hell, take a gang of friends!

wow! thanks for posting this. Know I know where the address is of the Hotel Vitale is for the Friday morning interview. someone has put together a great schedule for MCM's events during the May 4th thru May 6th. (I'm the volunteer coordinator.)

We will be having over 7 different voter groups at Thursday night's Oakland GrandLake Theater MCM event in the lobby. (may 4th at 7PM)

We will also be showing some film excerpts from some up and coming documentaries on voter fraud. Go to www.grandlaketheater.com for directions. tickets are only $10.

The most interesting thing is how we haven't gotten ANY responses from mainstream media, like the SF Chronicle or any of the local TV news programs. NADA, ZIP, ZIPPO, ZERO. The SF Chronicle wouldn't even list this event under "EVENTS" and lost the original event submission emailed 3 weeks ago until I did some tracking down of folks in the datebook section via many ph calls and begging.

Hey if any feds show up dressed in plain clothes, just to let you know I'll say hello to you even if you think you don't look like one from afar. I'm a friendly person and I'll say hello to anyone who comes regardless of their affiliation.

see ya'll there.
