The results of this OpEdNews/Zogby People's Poll are striking. If you get your news from CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, or ABC, there's a very good chance that you think that Bush stole the 2004 election. This, despite the fact that none of these news outlets (or even "mainstream" blogs such as Kos or TPM) have given much sympathetic treatment to vote fraud researchers.
By contrast, nearly all Fox viewers think the 2004 election was legit. Of course, Fox viewers would drink paint thinner if Brit Hume told them to.
Update: In other vote fraud news...
They did it on purpose: The major news organizations may prefer to use the dreaded G-word -- "glitch" -- but don't be fooled: The security breach built into Diebold's machines was placed there deliberately. For all the agonizing details, see here:
This document describes several security issues with the Diebold electronic voting terminals TSx and TS6. These touch-pad terminals are widely used in US and Canadian elections and are among the most widely used touch pad voting systems in North America. Several vulnerabilities are described in this report. The Wall Street Journal takes notice... Unfortunately, the paper still prefers to speak of "human error" at the voting booth. That's a true statement -- but only if we define the word "error" as "sin," as the Catholic church used to do.
One of them, however, seems to enable a malicious person to compromise the equipment even years before actually using the exploit, possibly leaving the voting terminal incurably compromised.
Sequoia denies the rumor that they are owned by Venezuela.
Sequoia Ownership -- Sequoia Voting Systems is a subsidiary of Smartmatic, a private company incorporated in Delaware with principal offices in Boca Raton, Florida. While a private firm, Smartmatic is and has always been open about its owners. A controlling interest is held by its founder and CEO Antonio Mugica, a dual Spanish and Venezuelan citizen.Sequoia also claims to be a leader in voter verified paper trail technology....
There is absolutely no ownership of Sequoia Voting Systems or its parent Smartmatic by the Venezuelan government or any other government -- foreign or domestic.

Holy smoke! That Zogby poll is incredible! Is it actually saying that well-over-half of non-Fox viewers believe the 2004 election was stolen? Is that possible?
now we need them to do a poll asking how many folks actually believe the govt story about 9/11, and how many believe the govt actually knew about it or even planned it.
my reasoning here is not just curiosity. i think it would be edifying in light of the plans to attack iran. these idiots clearly think such an action will bail them out the way 9/11 did. but my sense is that folks are wise to it all, and that another such aggressive move on the part of the administration would NOT bring the outrageous support that they got from 9/11.
lincoln's rule: can't fool all the people all the time.
BTW, I repeat the prediction I made on Bradblog--that in the next year or two the Bushes will be fleeing the country.
I wonder if we might see a switch in the Fox scheme now that Murdoch has endorsed Hillary.
Besides his perchant for sleaze and money, Rupert is well known as an intervetionist proprietor.
If he is concerned that his returns will drop under the Republican regime he will switch and take his mindless viewers and readers with him.
Assuming the poll is accurate, what does it say about us that a substantial portion of the US population believe a president has been holding office illegally, yet they go about their lives with a "too late, it can't be helped" attitude?
