Hugo Chavez offers aid

Even after receiving death threats from the vile pseudo-Christian Pat Robertson, and even after being on the receiving end of an attempted coup (obviously sponsored by the Bush administration), Hugo Chavez of Venezuela -- a DEMOCRATICALLY elected leader (unlike Bush) offers us fuel and water and aid.

Joseph: Egads! What a "menace" that man is -- to vicious, dog-eat-dog capitalism and the Bush Reich's own soulless Fascism, anyway: Robertson's Not Alone in His Dislike of Chavez, by Mattie Weiss, Star Tribune ---- "... I was in Venezuela just his month. And I saw a different reality.... What I saw, in the enormous city of Caracas and the rural towns of Monagas state, were huge numbers of people who, for the first time in their lives, have free and adequate health care, the opportunity to attend university, access to land grants and work contracts, constitutionally assured rights for women and indigenous people, and free breakfast programs for children. And with all this, a sense of dignity and ownership over their lives."

Wow that is more than he did when he refused to evacuate Venezuelans from the mud slide areas before his own "election". Cannon, How you can ignore the "proven" vote fraud in Venezuela while printing about every little inconsitancy in the U.S.

Venezuela was a dry run for the US. Don't you know that it was done by a US computer voting company, from Florida?

The operation looks a lot like what happened in Ohio. Maybe it was a test.

Try reading the offical opposition report.
