Joe

This morning I heard Joe Scarborough brag about how he continually slammed Hillary Clinton throughout the campaign season over the emails. More than once, Scarborough said that Hillary sent classified information.

Can anyone point to one instance of this? If such a thing had happened even once, that document would be incredibly famous. It would be the digital equivalent of the "bordereau" in the Dreyfus affair.

To qualify, we need a document that was classified at the time and sent by Hillary.

Meanwhile, Trump is poised to release -- any hour now, any minute now -- the Nunes memo, which does contain classified information about sources and methods, and which the Director of the FBI (picked by Trump) says is inaccurate. Release cannot be justified on the grounds of transparency, since the House has also forbidden release of a Democratic response.

In related news, CNN is now on the fifth day in a row attacking Hillary for Strider. I can't even believe my own eyes on how Hillary is treated anymore. It defies any conception I have of how the media works. I just don't get it.

I picked this piece up yesterday over at DU--Confessions of a Hillary Clinton Reporter. The article was written in 2015 but I daresay the 5 Unspoken Rules on Covering Hillary are as accurate now as they were then:

Btw, Nemdam, the MeToo people feel that these 10-year old revelations on Hillary, how she didn't go sufficiently ape-shit over this sexual harassment case is their finest moment. Because people in power, particularly Democratic people in power should be supremely pure, held to a different standard.

Hummm. Color me suddenly suspicious that this hogwash isn't politically tainted.
