This DU thread discusses a point that had not occurred to me before, though it should have been obvious all along. If we institute national health insurance (or single-payer, or Medicare for all), our auto insurance will also go way down. Why? Because a good chunk of our automobile insurance premiums is supposed to cover medical bills.

Imagine Trump feeling that someone else's comments were "inappropriate"!
Come to think of it, cheaper health insurance and cheaper health care would mean lower prices on all goods and services created in the U.S. Employers wouldn't be saddled with that burden any more.
