Ghaddafy's presumed heir is his second son Saif al-Islam Gaddafi. (As you know, one has many choices when transliterating the family name.) Saif has an interesting history. For one thing, he's a good pal of the Rothschild family. I'm not paranoid about the Rothschilds, but still -- that's odd company for an Islamic potentate-to-be to keep.

Saif is also friends with Israeli politician Avigdor Lieberman, a thoroughly awful far-right thug. Even more-or-less mainstream writers call Lieberman a "fascist." It has also been said that Saif was close to Bernie Madoff.
For what it's worth, Saif favors a one-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. So do I. But I don't think that Avigdor Lieberman or the Rothschilds will now want to hang out with me.
I don't believe that Jews control the American government. If they did, Obama would be trying to get Saif into power, because Saif would probably be the most Israel-friendly person ever to lead an Islamic state.

Dual loyalist Bill Kristol supports the attack and the rather Israel-critical tradcons at American Conservative as well as the libertarians and the dominant majority of the antiwar antizionist left oppose it.
It's likely the Am Empire/Israeli axis is on the defense and will continue to be regardless of the Libyan outcome.
There is a difference between "running" a government and having a grotesquely disproportionate though perhaps subject to rapidly declining influence.
Nothing on wiki linking Saif to Orly after 2007.
