Maybe things WILL get better

I've dismissed most of the recovery-is-just-around-the-corner articles. But this one gave me pause.
An international oil service company is expanding in Williston.

Halliburton Co. broke ground Thursday on a complex estimated at about $20 million in the city's Industrial Park.
Halliburton officials say they had to lay off workers in Williston recently but they believe the economy will change.

Clap if you believe things are getting better.

It worked for Tinkerbell.

I'm posting these links without further comment because I really don't know what to say.

I've lived in an "oil patch" city for almost 30 years. Our booms and busts are often out of sync with the rest of the country. About all the article tells me is that Halliburton is betting the price of crude oil will continue to rise.

Joseph, did you know that signing up for gmail now requires that you have a mobile phone with texting ability?

And they keep your number on file. Just saying. You've been following that facebook and twittering crap and now we can't even get web mail accounts without getting bagged and tagged.

That new building wouldn't happen to have bunkers in the basement, would it? :>)

Building fortresses and prisons is not a foolproof sign of optimism.

Joe did you know that people come on to your site to spew absolute garbage? To be certain i just started a new gmail account; ZeeTalksShit@gmail.com it did not ask me --nor demand-- a mobile phone number, it took 5 seconds, it did ask me my 1st phone number (as a security question-- but I chose that over first pet's name).

Reminds me of Bob Dylan's song about the John Birch Society.. pretty soon they see Commmies under the sheets, in the cupboards, everywhere....

it seems like there is enough real evil in this world without having to go paranoid on everything with or without merit. And Zee, maybe you should check out a site called Snopes before sounding the alarm bells...

there's: www.mail.yahoo.com and hotmail, and mail.com and inbox.com sadly, Hello Kitty dropped it's Kittymail.com but there's still a few options out there if you are that afraid of the evil google. MailCity, JesusMail (no really http://mail.jesusanswers.com/email/scripts/loginuser.pl) and while KittyMail may be gone but there's still http://www.kichimail.com/ or Otaku http://www.otakumail.com/scripts/common/index.main?signin=1&lang=us Lycos is still giving it away http://mail.lycos.com/lycos/Index.lycos i like Anothere from the UK-- http://www.another.com/ BLAZE .blazemail.com BorderMail http://boardermail.com/ ...or you can just forget about the conspiracy and tin foil when it comes to Gmail-- after all they aren't funded by InQTel and certainly don't want to get your cell number. They just want to sell a little of your eyeball to their advertisers. That is all.
