Well, his team is now claiming frontrunner status, albeit by a mere 22 votes. The methodology by which that number was achieved is, of course, open to question. (Also see here.) In an election this close, any winner is bound to be a loser, since many will argue that the razor-thin victory was achieved unfairly.
