We just had a moderate earthquake out here. Soon, this blog's usual coterie of cranks will proclaim it the Deity's vengeance against me for daring to insult his Only Begotten.

I'm fond of Kali. She's the Hindu analog to Anath, my absolute fave among the dieties of the ancient near east.
