The new Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, is pulling his nation's troops
out of Iraq and reconsidering plans to host U.S. missile bases. In response, Congressional Republicans have asked the Capitol Hill commissary to refer to Polish sausage as "Freedom sausage."

also the new PM of australia, rudd of the labor party, who trounced howard, bush's poodle's poodle. in addition, rudd vowed to support the kyoto treaty if elected.
we can only hope these new elections signal a shifting trend (france's fiasco notwithstanding....).
