Let's get the sex stuff out of the way NOW.

Oy. Here's another story that could open me up to charges of sensationalism. But the accusation has garnered enough traction on the right that we might as well discuss it here.

The accusation is that Hillary is having a lesbian affair with an attractive Muslim woman named Huma Abedin. Covert History provides your best first step if you want to research the claim.

Seems to me that if the tale were just a baseless smear, the GOP would wait until after Hillary gains the nomination before discussing it in public.

Some believe that this is the story Ron Rosenbaum refers to when he says that the LA Times is sitting on "a potentially devastating sexual scandal involving a leading Presidential candidate."
Now, as I say it’s a rumor; I haven’t seen the supporting evidence. But the person who told me said it offhandedly as if everyone in his world knew about it. And if you look close enough you can find hints of something impending, something potentially derailing to this candidate in the reporting of the campaign. Which could mean that something unspoken, unwritten about is influencing what is written, what we read.
Mind you, Rosenbaum may have directed these words at any leading candidate on either side -- although he specifically exempts Edwards. By my reckoning, that means Clinton, Obama, Giuliani, Romney, or Thompson. One of those five.

I'm in favor of getting all potential sex scandals out of the way right now -- on both sides of the political aisle. The general election should turn on other issues.

Oh -- and before you leap to any conclusions, see this post countering Rosenbaum. Seems to me quite likely that someone could be using Mr. Rosenbaum to spread a false tale. Perhaps he could give us a few more details regarding his source?

His readers presume that the candidate must be a Democrat, because the MSM is so effing liberal that they would never hesitate to smear a Republican. Unreal! These days, the LAT is about as "liberal" as the NY Post.

BigHeadDC "confirms" the Hillary-Huma accusation via an anonymous source at the Justice Department. Keep in mind that BigHeadDC once plagiarized one of my own stories -- word for word -- and then placed those words into the mouth of an anonymous "DC insider." After I made a stink about this shoddy behavior on the part of writer Rob Capriccioso, his name stopped appearing on the BigHead site, although I think that he's still the BigHead head.

By the way, the National Enquirer (which arguably has a little more credibility than does BigHeadDC) has published a separate allegation that John Edwards had an affair with a woman he met in a bar 18 months ago.

I met someone a few days ago who went to college with Hillary, and said that back then people knew about her predaliction for the same sex. I think she and Bill must have a somewhat open relationship.

My brother knows a woman who was then and is now a 'major' (meaning out, I guess?) lesbian who went to school with Hillary, and her comment was that she didn't get that vibe from HR at all at that time.

Although, perhaps she wasn't her type?

bartonn, sofla...by any chance, could you ask your contacts to contact me? The email address is at the top of the page.

As for the open relationship -- I have no idea what Bill and Hillary and worked out. But in general, there are millions of couples in this world who love each other, who cannot imagine life without each other, but who have lost most or all sexual interest in each other. Perhaps the majority of marriages reach that stage. I don't know why we pretend that such things do not happen.

Everyone who is familiar with "Trance-Formation America" already knows that Hillary is a closet lesbian, though she prefers MKULTRA sex slaves. Isn't that convincing enough???

"Trance-Formation" is a hoax by a pair of well-known con artists. I'm not going to allow further discussion of it -- those few (fortunately, very few) who want to believe such utter nonsense will never be swayed by rational argument.

Ten toes up and ten toes down with your lawful spouse, or else.

Thanks for the info, Joe. Don't leave us hanging. What punishments are in store for these sinners?

Didn't you abandon all hope anyway when the Supreme Court decided 9-0 (Nine to Nothing!) to let the Paula Jones civil suit against President of the United States William Jefferson Clinton, as-if Governor Clinton, to go forward while he was a sitting President? No, you didn't, since you had already abandoned all hope when the United States Senate confirmed Clarence Thomas as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Am I right? No? Was it when Gary Hart got 'caught' with a woman he wasn't married to?

When did Clinton's presidency get destroyed? When he signed the EO that removed the ban against homosexual men and women serving in the military. That was in his first week.

Dear(est) Hillary,

Don't forget what the motherfuckers did in New Hampshire in 1972 to Senator Muskie when they got Donald Segretti to smear his wife with lies, when Senator Muskie had to go in front of the cameras in the snow, when snowflakes fell on his cheeks, when he was tagged a crybaby.

I have faith in you that you'll be the first candidate to tell someone to "fuck off" on live TV. Mostly, though, it's great that you still know how to love.

Best always,

Let's pretend for a moment that we are at war with, ummm, let's say Afghanistan and Iraq, just for arguments sake.

And let's assume that the cowboy-in-chief might want to heed the advice of his handlers and do some medieval punishment to Iran, 21st Century style.

What kind of inane crap is Lesbianism at this juncture? Are we concerned about electing a candidate on integrity, honesty, transparency, ability, etc..?

Seriously. Neither you nor any of your readers are that ill-informed that you limit yourselves to the flavor of the week about a "d" or an "r". Right?

Tell me your dreams are not my nightmares. Please.

Oh kee-RIST. After all I've written -- after ALL I'VE WRITTEN -- another reader recites the SIBPATS speech! And, as always -- as has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR THE PAST TWENTY FIVE YEARS -- the guy giving the SIBPATS speech honestly seems to think that I've never heard it before....!

ARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!

(BANG BANG BANG)

(There. I've just banged my head against the nearest wall until the gypsum board cracked. Happy?)

What must I do to convince people like you to find yourself another fucking blog? What on earth makes you jackasses think you are welcome here?

Joseph.

I believe your response was posted in response to my post.

I owe you a great deal of respect for not simply deleting the post and moving on.

I have haunted your blog for a long time and I enjoy your material and your interests.

I guess I fucked up when I assumed you were a progressive thinker. My bad.

I think the SIBPATS thingy is adorable. It's a convenient way of compartmentalizing truthiness into neat little box to hide with the other unmentionables.

OIC, OMG KEWL IYSS. I always say GIGO. I thought you might enjoy AFPOE and some new 411.

I allowed this comment to appear to tell you not to show up here again, asshole. I do not get paid for this gig. From now on, no-one may direct insults of any kind against yours truly in the comments. I can insult. You can't. If you feel those rules are unfair, start your own blog.

DIG OR SPLIT.

The "Trance Formation" comment was sarcastic by the way.

My apologies, eric. I happen to have special knowledge of that one (long story) and you'd be surprised how many people I've run into who take it ultra seriously.
