UPDATE: Now they're saying that the new poster-boy for closeted gay-ness will be Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. See here (scroll down) and here and here and - of course -- good old Mike Rogers, here. (Nice title: "My Old Kentucky Homo.") Rogers doesn't cite a source for his statement that McConnell referred to his wife as his "roommate." His wife, incidentally, is Labor Secretary Elaine Chao. Mitch allegedly has gay men on his staff. I quite enjoyed writing the previous sentence.Kind of adds a new meaning to the term "KY jelly," dunnit? If the allegations are true, then Mitch would be a gay man who likes to smear 12-year old boys.

Oh, Gawd - an organization that I love and was a part of for some years, the Peace Corps, was harmed considerably by having Chao as director on her way up the ladder. Let's hope her career begins to fade as a result of this.
