I would remind readers that Guiliani leads all Democratic candidates in the three most important purple states. And Joe Lieberman could shift the balance of power in the Senate like that. The reactionaries control vast amounts of money, they control much of the media, they control a shady network of spooks and operatives -- they control events.
So...yeah. Perilous. Perilous indeed.

joe, that poll you reference was clearly premature, and frankly did not make ANY sense when you think about the real numbers out there on bush and the war and the opinions about congress, etc. etc.
