Nuclear war
According to a story in the Sunday Times, Israeli pilots are training for a planned nuclear attack on Iran.

One needs to also to take into account the source of this story -- a Rupert Murdoch-owned newspaper that highly favors Israel and helps disseminate its propaganda.
Not surprising. If I were commanding the Israeli Air Force, I would be worried about being handed the order to "drop the big one, NOW." It's not the sort of thing you want to do on the fly. So I would have my people planning and training looong before the political level even considered the idea.
Planning and training is not really as sinister as it sounds. Canada and the US, for example, have long had plans to deal with war against each other. This does not mean that Canada has immediate designs on Ogdensburg or the Dubya is planning to seize the Lake Winnipeg Goldeye Fishery.
(Actually, I wouldn't rule out the Lake Winnipeg thing. It wouldn't be any stupider than some of the things he *has* done.)
