A friend to this blog informs me of a rumor that a White House insider will soon say something bad -- really, really, really bad -- about this administration. My guess: This suddenly-chatty insider (if he exists) may be Rumsfeld.
My mind keeps returning to Rummy's parting words to Bush: "And I know, with certainty, that over time the contributions you've made will be recorded by history."
That must be the wittiest comment ever uttered by any member of Team Bush. It reminds me of the scene when Scarlet donates her wedding ring to The Cause and Rhett quips: "I know just how much that meant to you."
