Looking good...

Claire McCaskill, we love you! She pulled it off!

Jim Webb -- you da man. I gotta admit, if given the choice between a Democratic Senate with Allen in it or a Republican Senate with no Allen, I would have gone for the latter. God, but I loathe that tobacco-spitting faux-redneck. Virginia is not in the bag, but it looks like we stand a good chance.

Two of the most important races -- and I mean important to everyone in the country, int he world -- occurred downticket in California. There is a good chance that Debra Bowen will pull off a win in the Secretary of State race, once the votes from Los Angeles and San Francisco are counted. And Jerry Brown, bless him, will be our next Attorney General. Neither of those two will countenance Republican attempts to install more vote-theft machinery.

The Arnie-appointed Bruce McPherson obviously hoped to help the Republicans steal California's massive numbr of electoral votes. Theft may occur in 2008, but in some other state.

You keep asserting these charges of Republican vote fraud while neglecting to demonstrate them. In 2004, Democratic vote fraud stole a governor's race in the state of Washington and tipped Wisconsin to John Kerry. There was no evidence of significant GOP vote fraud--none. You are riding your delusions to nowhere.

When I pointed out to Steven Freeman that his belief that Kerry "really" won by 6-7 million votes meant that the aggregate of all national polls was off by more than three standard deviations, he simply dropped the discussion.

When RFK, Jr. wrote that, according to the exit polls, Kerry was even running neck-and-neck in Republican strongholds like Virginia and North Carolina, it means that they were wrong. Kerry was not competitive in either state and no one thought that he was.
