Right now, according to electoral-vote.com, the Senate is tied 50-50. That's really a loss for the Dems, for two reasons: 1. Cheney will have the tie-breaking vote, and 2. Lieberman, who seems poised to win, has signalled a post-election party switch. (Lamont is at least ten points behind.)
Quite a few pundits have discussed how the Dems should spend their cash. Much of the talk has centered on picking up more seats in the House, where the party is already in a strong position. I say focus on the Senate -- specifically, on the races in Tennessee, Virginia and Missouri. Only a win in all three can insure a win in both chambers of Congress.

Not if we impeach them both and remove them from office. And the Democrats take the house ;-)
