Iran-amuck, pt. 2

From RAW Story:
The Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), has recently held meetings in Paris with a front man working for Iranian arms dealer and Iran-Contra figure Manucher Ghorbanifar, US and foreign intelligence sources tell RAW STORY.
There seems to be a faction within the Iranian power structure that wants an American military strike. Ghorbanifar is tied in with that faction, and with Ledeen and the neocon plotters.

An unconfirmed report links another Iran-contra mystery man, Vaughn Forrest, with these covert meetings. (There have been at least two.) Forrest worked with Rob Owen, Ollie North, John Hull -- ah, those names bring one back! He seems to have an affection for spooked up congressmen; back then, he worked for Florida Republican Bill McCollum. But what really intrigues me is this resume (now available only via Google cache):
Vaughn Forrest, also a co-founder of AFG Biosolutions, has over 25 years experience in coordinating national security and domestic policy with the White House, U.S. Congress, and executive government departments and agencies. His national security and intelligence expertise includes operational experience in the Middle East and Central Asia. He was the Founding Director of the Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare of the U.S. House of Representatives. He also founded the Higgins Terrorism Research Center, a non-profit corporation that focuses on the causes, cultures and operations of terrorist entities and provides anti-terrorism instruction to local, state and federal government agencies.

Mr. Forrest is one of the world’s leading experts in infrastructure protection technologies, experience he uses to help investors evaluate technologies for development or financing. He works closely with former Soviet biological warfare scientists and scientists at American universities to develop novel approaches to bolster the immune system in order to counter biological weapons.
Something big is up. I've been saying that a lot lately, haven't I?

There seems to be a real war going on by the neocons like Bush-cheney-rumsfeld-rice-rove and anyone who stands up and disagrees with what is happening in this country like election fraud, like continued war in Iraq, like the stripping away of habeas corpus and the Geneva convention in the last torture bill just approved Sept 29th.

On a smaller scale, the powers that be are said to have seeded the clouds above the SF Bay Area with bio-toxins on oct 4th, the day before the "World Can't Wait Protests", such that the protestors who showed up (and anyone else caught without an umbrella), got subjected to toxic rain infused with new strains of viruses/flu/bacteria. Planes were seen spending hours in the skies the on oct 2nd/3rd just off the coast of San Francisco/Oakland/Berkeley. Getting rain so early in October is extremely unusual, like I don't think this has happened in decades.

Many folks are getting hard hit this past week (and weekend) with flu and colds even though last week we had mild weather and no rains. (week of oct 9th thru 13th)

No one puts two and two together. However, of course when the Powers that Be want great weather here in the SF Bay Area, we had fabulous bluesky weather a few days later on Sat oct 7th just in time for the Blue Angels flying squad to show off and perform during the annual "Fleet Week". It is said that some of those planes that were practicing also were helping to spread whatever crap without knowing what it was that gets spewed out along with the exhaust.

No surprise that the Indian summer weather the SF Bay Area usually receives the last week of September was sabotaged by the government's seeding to "dampen" and poison the demonstrators and also basically make the folks in the greater SF Bay Area as sick as possible. We serve no better purpose than to be lab guineapigs for the super secret NHS to test out the latest strand of a new virus/flu.

Scott Ritter claims the U.S. army does have a division available to put into Iraq -- however (according to Ritter) when BushCo discovers that our "intervention" doesn't spark an overthrow of the Iranian government (by, of course, a pro-American government which loves Israel, GWB and the Fortune 500 --so go their fantasies) and things don't go as planned in the neo-con imagination, the U.S. will find itself with its army effectively entrapped. At that point, Bush will use tactical nuclear weapons.

Ritter, who describes himself as a conservative Republican, claims to have seen such war-game plans, and to have talked to high-level military planners.

You can get the whole interview (or will be able to) at wnyc.org, Leonard Lopate show, 10/16.

A Swede envying US? Hey, at least you still have a working health care system. And something of a social safety net. And if worse comes to worse and you lose your housing, camping is legal and free in many places. (At least that's the way it used to be; the law may have been changed since my 1982 edition of "Let's Go Europe.")

And Stockholm has an even larger number of stunning blonde girls than does Los Angeles...

(Oh, there'll be hell to pay for that last comment...)

On the other hand, you Swedes can't get the World's Greatest Burrito at El Indio in Van Nuys at 3 in the morning...
