Hastert and Sibel

This is turning into one of those days when all my posts tell you to go read other bloggers. But you cannot count yourself truly educated about current affairs if you don't read lukery's latest on Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.

Right now, quite a few people know that Hastert covered up for Mark Foley. An increasing number are learning that Hastert lives with another man while making his "wife" sleep in a hotel, even on Valentine's Day. Although those stories demand telling (if we want to win, we're going to need to take the "limbic" approach, as Billmon calls it), they do not constitute the real news.

In a recent interview quoted by lukery, Daniel Ellsberg said the following:
Sibel says that suitcases of cash have been delivered to the Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert, at his home, near Chicago, from Turkish sources, knowing that a lot of that is drug money.

Now these are pretty inflammatory allegations, let's say, and it's note-worthy that they haven't even been picked up by the mainstream press.
The FBI has tapes indicating the bribing of Hastert, and investigator David Rose has spoken to those who know what is on those tapes. In essence, one claimed bribe episode involved a congressional resolution recognizing the Aremenian genocide, an event which the Turks hope to wipe from memory. Hastert announced his support for this measure in 2000.
But what is significant, the resolution had passed the Human Rights Subcommittee of the House. It passed the International Relations Committee, but on the eve of the House vote, the full House vote, Dennis Hastert withdrew the resolution...

Well, whether or not these allegations have substance is not something that I am able to state with any knowledge, but it is said that in the wiretaps that were translated by Sibel Edmonds, reference was made to this very controversial question of the House vote. One of the Turkish targets of these wiretaps claimed that the price for getting Dennis Hastert to withdraw the resolution would be $500,000. Now, I do emphasize there's no evidence at all that he received such a payment, but that is what is said to have been recorded in one of the wiretaps.
I'd say that we don't have to stretch the definition of "evidence" too far to categorize the wiretaps as evidence. Hastert's strange attitued toward the resolution is out in the open for all to see.

Sibel is trying her damnedest to get the story out...
She currently has at least two veteran FBI agents, with first hand information, who are willing to go on the record and confirm the entire story (Hastert, ATC, ATAA, Livingston Group...).

All we need is one reporter.
How can we force the media to pay attention to the true "Hastergate" story? Lukery has a plan. Go here and scroll to the bottom.

Hey Joe, I have always wondered why Sibel Edmonds has not gotten more coverage in the MSM. Do you think that she is credible?

In a word? Yes.

Keep in mind that I'd have a major crush on her if she were not married and if she did not smoke. (On the other hand, I do have a crush on Nigella Lawson; she's married and she sizzles.)

I begin to wonder, don't you Liberal Jews get it by now?

Why do you think none of the real stories ever get into the main press ?

http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/spyring.html

The press is dominated by them and infested by them.

Where's that story on your 6 o'clock news?

Do you understand who is running the show....

The radical Zionist cabal controls the news media, and what all of you see and hear. They don't want you to know about the Russian-Turkish Israel mafia or all the rest of the blatant crimes.

And they wish to keep it that way, so they have a blackout on Sibel Edmonds...you know it.

Lukery rocks! Always a thoughtful, informative read.

People need to really get a handle on the essentially criminal nature of the Bush administration: guys who sell nuclear technology under the counter, with no thought for the final destination; drugs and arms traffickers; war profiteers, murderers and serial liars.

Why is the US public still believing their crap?
