Just got a call from our Joseph, who has been delayed for a couple of days being just a great all-round real guy. Really. Though I'm sure that comes as no surprise.
But I'm equally sure this will be a surprise: Joe had to ask if anything was happening! He hasn't had a chance to look at the news at all! And, he noted it was kinda nice.
It is important to get away from all this on a regular basis. Hope everyone out there takes the opportunity to get away and adjust perspective. Essential for sanity. Speaking of reality.
But just as essential for sanity, Joe will be returning very soon, so do not despair.
And while we're on housekeeping topics, wanted to point out that the past two or three days blogger has been just dreadful. Down for at least an hour each day at 2 PST, and then crapping out at random times for random durations whenever. And in the midst of posting, getting a message I'm not connected, when clearly I am. Obviously secondary to the Google purchase. Grr. Grrgle.
This could be a very serious problem on the 7th if they don't get the kinks out before then.

You know, I just had this...feeling that Joseph was out doing a routine "good guy" errand. Go, Joe!
I also had a feeling that blogger was fucking with its users the last couple of days. Bad blogger!
Grrrr. And all of this in the last days leading up to the election. Hrumph. This is why it's good to take breaks. I've been trying to take one (sort of) for the purposed of readjusting my so-called professional ambitions. Hopefully, that Halloween party on Saturday will make for a more appropriate break.
