Who sits with Fitz? (UPDATE)

A friend to this blog asked an intriguing question: How many lawyers are on Fitzgerald's staff? "Last October he claimed a staff of four part-time lawyers - all with full time jobs." So sayeth my correspondent; to be frank, I haven't given the matter much thought before now.

But it is worth thinking about. Because much of the analysis we are reading -- in the doctor's fine post below, and elsewhere -- revolves around the question of whether or not Fitz is going after the veep. And it seems fair to presume that no prosecutor could hope to bring down Dick Cheney without a small battalion of lawyers. Does anyone know how many people Fitz has on staff?

UPDATE: That's the great thing about having a readership -- ask a question and someone out there may know the answer. A commenter directs our attention to this site, which says that Fitz has a small army of legal-types helping him out. Does this mean Cheney really might be a target...?

More masturbatory left wing wet dreams.

Cheney's not in any trouble. He's got nothing to worry about. Hell, pussy footin' left wingers have been trying to get these guys going on what... SIX YEARS now? And have any Rethugs been punished for anything? Not really.

So why would Cheney get in any trouble for outing a spy?

Round and round we go...

do do dooda looda do do.... <- circus music

Anyone got any peanuts?

Hey, Anon 3:59? You are the kind of "citizen" I really worry about. Consider medication and long-term therapy, if you haven't already.

Jen 3:59,

Actually I'm doing quite fine. Don't worry about me.

I just find the whole political circus kinda funny and can't resist poking fun at it.

Haven't you noticed that the same Iran-Contra thugs from 30 years ago are the same ones running everything now?

Same dirty tricksters. And the same suckers gobbling it all up. America's playing the same stupid ass retarded game of Eyes-Wide-Shut that we were playing 30 years ago.

Well, the game is going end the same way.

The stupid guy will lose his shirt.

America is tanking.

We're sort of like frogs being boiled to death but are too stupid or too afraid to jump out of the hot water.

There are four types of people in the world:

A. Suckers

B. People who try to help suckers

C. People who screw suckers

D. People who used to try to help suckers but eventually get tired of trying to help A pull C out of A's ass, and then out of cynicism find them self in group C

anon 10:39:

from your analysis, the human species would have met its demise several millenia ago.

there is a category that you missed, and that is the folks who are not suckers and have no interest in participating in the whole sucker mentality, a - d.

they actually believe there can be change in the world and that it is worth attempting that change, even when it falls short of the fullest hopeful mark.

i suppose that would be your category b, but without the d cynicism.

or annihilism. what a miserable, pathetic life you must lead. especially given that you believe you are fine. the world needs fewer of you, so i'll place my bets on those who are not so lazy and pissy and actually refuse to go the d route.

that is, after all, the only way any of this madness will change. you actually have to do the work. but apparently you're saying that you're just not up to it, either in energy or character.

that's a fair assessment, it seems.
