Well, the yarn about Iran forcing Jews to wear identifying symbols has been well and truly debunked. Even the National Post of Canada no longer stands by the story. But does Matt Drudge, who did so much to publicize the hoax, link to any articles explaining the truth of the situation? No, he does not. Thus, millions of Americans will vaguely recall a fictional "fact."
