PORTER GOSS RESIGNATION SOLVED: DC9 WITH 5.5 TONS OF COCAINE WAS CIA PLANE
This headline presents us with a couple of problems.
First, an arch-skeptic might say that Hopsicker has not proven that the airplane was CIA. He has, however, traced the registry of a "sister" aircraft to various known front groups used by spooks. A fair-minded person reading his work would have to confess that the argument is very strong that the drug-laden craft confiscated on that Mexican runway did, in fact, belong to the Agency, or (perhaps) to some other faction of the clandestine community.
And that's big news. It means we are dealing with something larger than the tale of a stock-scammer-turned-drug-importer.
The more troubling aspect of this headline concerns Porter Goss. Did the Skyway bust lead to his resignation, as Hopsicker states? The timing is certainly suggestive. But Hopsicker's story makes clear that this conclusion is the author's surmise, not an established fact. Personally, I prefer to keep my "maybes" and my "probablys" separate from my "definitelys."
That said, we must ask: Could this conjecture be on the money?
One aspect of the Skyway scandal that has always troubled me concerns the circumstances of the plane's capture. The Mexican authorities -- which have a history of looking the other way when paid to do so -- were apparently alerted to the drug run. More than that: The pilot got away. Only a child would believe that such things happen by accident. Someone arranged for his escape. Who might that "someone" be, and what were his motives?

Perhaps Porter Goss achieved his high position (and thus considered himself untouchable) because he had acquired dope on Administration officials via the Hookergate operation. (Could he have "gotten something" on Bush himself?) The only way to undo a blackmailer is to get something on him. If Goss can, in fact, be linked to Skyway, then anyone who wanted rid of him would have found a way to achieve a "balance of terror."
Plenty of other scenarios suggest themselves, of course. I offer the above speculation simply to invite others to ponder these mysteries. As you try to conjure up your own possible version of events, mull over this fascinating chunk of Hopsicker's tale:

Genesis Aviation is one of several dozen company fronts, all of which contain the name “Genesis” in the title, controlled by one of the key figures in the Iran Contra scandal, Saudi billionaire and long-time CIA asset Adnan Khashoggi.
Last month the Securities and Exchange Commission charged Khashoggi and Ramy Al Batrawi, his lieutenant for the past 20 years, with stock fraud in U.S. District Court for Central California. The men are accused of orchestrating a $130 million fraud involving the stock price of GenesisIntermedia.
When the helpful Khashoggi worked with Oliver North to sell arms to Iran, Ramy El-Batrawi was there, as president of a Khashoggi company, Jetborne International, indicted for illegally ferrying TOW missiles to Iran, an “enterprise” which netted someone—though not the U.S. Government or the Contras it was supposedly funding—a tidy bit of change.
Apparently neither man learned that crime doesn’t pay, because Adnan and Ramy’s recent pilferage make the Kovars look like kids stealing a candy bar from a 7-11 after school.
“Just three months after the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO), the nearly $17 million raised in the offering was gone,” read one wire service story.
“The creative dealings of defendant El-Batrawi partly explains how this money disappeared so quickly,” reported the AP.
I did some more research. Two parties who are suspected of having foreknowledge of the 9-11 attacks: Anthony Elgindy and Adnan Khashoggi link to each other through Costa Rican Red Sea Management. Khashoggi associate Pakistani Rafi Khan did business with Canadian Stephen Taub. Stephen Taub referred Rakesh Saxena, the man who embezzled $88M from an Thai bank, to Red Sea Management.
Red Sea Management was involved in Sky Way's mysterious 'DuPont' investment fund, which injected $7M including a DC-9 into Sky Way in 2004. Through a shareholder in Sky Way related Royal Sons, also last owner of the captured plane had activities in a hangar of Huffman aviation at the same time the hijackers were trained there. Atta and Al-Shehhi are believed to have practiced landings and take-offs after closing hours on the Clearwater airport where Royal Sons has it's HQ.
All coincidences? I don't think so. It might connect many pieces of the 9-11 jigsaw puzzle, including Sibel Edmonds hints, The Israeli Art Students DEA groups and more.

the timing is awfully odd, especially given the suddenness of it, and the flimsy explanations, and even speculations of goss's departure.
what is even more disturbing is the possibility that he was canned NOT for engaging the cia in such illegal activities, but for FAILING the operation, losing a quarter of a big bill in revenues, and exposing the whole enterprise to daylight.
one also has to wonder just why the mexican government is not, um, cooperating as it always has in the past.
and the biggest question right now should be, who's actually holding all that coke?
ya gotta wonder, as i did in an earlier comment on this issue, just how fox is playing this event. could he be holding the goods for some kind of ransom? could the threat of the wall be part of the power play in all this?
that one shipment was hardly all there was to this. obviously this was just one of a larger operation in the works. if it was an early one, a whole lot of folks who were promised millions are going to be majorly ticked.
seems like this whole affair highlights serious internal turf battles.

There really isn't much of a veil left to be lifted. Any moron with half a functioning brain has already put two and two together and knows the world's intel agencies are becoming corrupted because of their dealings with thugs. So now they are caught in a catch-22 as all parties lie and blackmail to coverup their own misdeeds. Secret organizations can't help but be corrupted. And the longer it gets ignored, the more corrupt they're going to get.

Skyways International, Skyways Aircraft Leasing/Skyways Leasing Corporation. These were all the same company. James Bath was President and director during the Iran/Contra era. Documents filed in another lawsuit indicate that Sheikh Khalid bin Mahfouz
owned Skyways Aircraft Leasing.

As I become better at filtering the false blogs (a.k.a. phlogs) from real blogs/news sources, usually the easiest way is to see who is funded/controlled by the military industrial complex is when they write hit pieces on 9/11 truth movements and the hard evidence that surrounds those events. The next filter that works is when particular bloggers pimp an establishment political party like the Democratic party. It appears that Cannon is caught by both filters.

Mighty strong words, anon. Labelling Hopsicker and Cannon as 9/11 Truth assassins is not justified. Hopsicker's criticism of the truthists is issue-based, and a well-justified expression of much-deserved frustration that so much energy goes into high-tech fantasies and so little goes into uncovering the real links between real participants and criminal enterprises in FL.
I'd imagine that one reason Joseph chooses to steer clear of the 9/11 can of worms is precisely because of the tendency of its enthusiasts to concoct theories that their colleagues are CIA plants. Joseph is doing important work just fine, and the world does not need another blogger pondering the Cleveland Airport mystery or the Dewdney cell phone experiments or Global Hawk turbines.
And as for Hopsicker's PBS and NBC connections, well, where I come from, we call those "credentials".

How more I look into details of this case the more I get convinced of the headline of this story.
The N900SA was photographed with the Sky Way logo months before Sky Way -according to SEC filings- officially obtained the plane through the Dupont offshore investor. A clear indication of fraudulent statements SEC filings.
The Sky Way Beech that got confiscated in 2004 is not mentioned in any of the SEC filings. A $100k downpayment for another never really acquired plane however is.

I use to be a pilot that flew the second aircraft listed as 120NE. I've met Ramy AlBatrawi as he was one of the owners of the aircraft. We flew sport teams under the name of Genesis Aviation. This is all very interesting to me. He was up to his eyeballs in shaddy dealings then. I seriously doubt that Genesis, Ramy or 120NE was used a CIA front. As a scam, sure. There's actually a Discovery show with him as a big roller in Vegas... losing my paycheck. Does anyone know where the N number 900SA came from? Ramy leased 120NE to Scott Aviation in Du Page IL.
