Go ahead. Make your day.
As of this writing, 86% of respondents to an MSNBC poll say that Bush has committed crimes worthy of impeachment. Not that such polls count for much in the real world. But you may enjoy participating nonetheless...
Is it any wonder why Bush, Cheney, Rove, et al need to make sure that the Republicans retain majorities in the House and Senate this fall? If the Dems take over, there will be - in theory - hell to pay. Consequently, I wouldn't be surprised to see an awful lot of interesting things happening in the coming months...basically anything to make American voters believe that voting for Republicans, despite their blatant inadequacies, is in their best interests.
The party in power has only two choices, right? They can steal the important races--again--and hope to get away with it, even though the pre-election polls will have them losing 40-60. Or, they can cancel (although I'm sure they would call it postpone) the elections.
Which will it be? I'm betting that the closer it gets to November, the more they favor the latter course.
Hee. That was a little fun. Thanks, man!

ReplyDeleteFasten your seatbelt. This could be quite a ride.
