Sadly, my self-congratulatory horn-tootin' loses the crucial theme of that previous post, so I'd like to reiterate here that the investigations into the NSA's domestic spying are of supreme importance, and now appear to be in danger of getting spiked.
Glenn Greenwald has absolutely the best, most comprehensive coverage of the situation, so please get educated and fired up about how this administration is demanding their dictatorship, inch by solemn inch, and our representatives and WE are letting them get away with it. Unless, of course, you can make the time to contact the party and its people on the Judicial and Intelligence committees, as well as your own local reps and senators, regardless of party.
The Dems are going belly-up again, folks; yet another one that really matters. It's up to us to make them do the right thing.
