Sorry to go OT, but I think this post by Rozen is worth a read
(Duke, 9/11...)

we all assume it's karl feeding georgie the lines... maybe it's laura?? or maybe they take turns?

would be interesting to see all the possible ear-feeders standing next to W during a speech or press conference. wonder if he would suddenly develop a new speaking style...

Joseph,

I'm not sure what to do with this piece of information but I'll pass it on to you to do with as you see fit.

I'm not sure if it's been noted, but since we're on the wired bush topic there is a third "Let Me Finish".

Almost obviously, it comes right before Bush says something that cause a whole lot of bad press, and probably was his own addition to the speech, since it was a pretty stupid thing to say.

I ran into it watching Farenheit 9/11 on DVD the other day and it comes at about 1 hour and 21 minutes into the movie.

Bush says "Let Me Finish" in his Bring Em On speech, shortly before he says his infamous Bring Em On.

Cheers,
Zachary K.

P.S.

Once again there is no notable audio interruption to what he is saying.

mmm ... i'm not convinced on this occasion. I think this time I'll run with shear stupidity as the reason. If he was being fed a prepared speech it really was a pretty crappy speech.

i'm not sure what's more terrifying. halty, incoherent moron-speak due to blathered bits prompted via a wire or simply due to sheer stupidity.

honestly, the thought of W talking and acting the way he does purely of his own volition-- without any outside assistance-- is a more horrifying situation than wires and ear-pieces.
