Is Joseph setup to receive payments via paypal?

I would like to thank him for all excellent work this year by sending him some $$ via paypal. I am not a wealthy person but he really deserves some extra spending cash.

thanks

Thanks for letting us know all is well. But I am feeling lonesome. Hope for MY sake (not his!) the deadline is soon.

Yes. What anon 1:55 posted: Paypal. I might be inspired to create a Paypal account if Joseph did.

A "looming deadline"?
Well, better that than a "receding hairline."

Re: Paypal.

Please let me warn you all about Paypal. I'm considering myself lucky that I "only" lost less than $100 to Paypal - although that is a lot to me. My crime? I can prove I mailed an item to Canada, and I can prove I sent it the way the buyer told me to send it, that is, uninsured - he didn't want to pay for insurance. Now the buyer - surprise! - claims he didn't get it - and so Paypal debited my account for the amount.

Upon investigation, it seems many others lost hundreds, even thousands of dollars due to paypal. Paypal can 'freeze' your account and you have no recourse; they are judge, jury, and high executioner. Normal banking rules do not apply because it is not 'your' account, but paypal's account; and you agreed to this. You have no recourse. Paypal makes a lot of money on interest off of 'frozen' accounts. Paypal sure is convenient - until it happens to you, so beware.

dear bitter paypal customer,

always send packages with tracking to prove that your item got delivered.

also never buy ebay items from folks in china. I bought a $9.99 knockoff beatles rarities CD from someone in china via ebay. I paid for it via paypal. I made the mistake of complaining about the high cost of shipping before having received the item. the seller got pissed off when I complained about the high cost of shipping and handling which was $10 and I mentioned that china's labor rates should be low as a 3rd world country so the S&H should be lower. The seller was ready to nuke me for having said anything negative about China. He filed my only negative feedback on Ebay I have ever received out of feedback from more than 70 different transactions. He didn't send me the item.

then I opened up a complaint with Ebay and with Paypal and they decided in my favor and credited back the lousy $20. It took about 3 weeks to go through the hoops with ebay and paypal. Only then did the seller ship me out the beatles knockoff CD to prove that he had sent it to me, I received the item finally after Paypal had credited me back the payment.

so paypal does work, ebay does work but it takes time, you have to open up a case with them. and don't buy stuff from hostile, ready to nuke you sellers located in china.
