You know those "Support Our Troops" yellow ribbons sold at Wal-Mart? They're made in China. And because a cheap dye was used, they're fading. Just like support for the war.
Incidentally, until I did a little research just now, I did not realize how much crap of this sort is for sale. Right-wingers, being incapable of independent thought, live by slogans -- slogans such as "Freedom isn't free!" and "Emmanuel Goldstein is double-plus ungood!" By comparison, Leftie doodads usually try to be clever or funny.
But if our automotive ornamentation must strike a serious note, how about a blue ribbon (made in America, if you please!) bearing the maxim "Bring them home"? Blue doesn't fade so easily.
