Need a diversion from the Traitorgators?

NASA researchers pop water balloons in a zero-G environment, just to see what happens. Photos. Video. Let's spend less money on war and more money doing cool shit.

Hee. Thanks, Joseph. Even in light of the treasury looting Bush has done, the skyrocketing needs of the poor and the young in this country, not to mention the impending economic and environmental meltdown, I'm still pulling for NASA funding. The agency may be able to play a role in helping us combat the environmental damage we've done, but also, cool shit.

Some really cool shit comes out of the NASA labs... Barcodes, Tang, Astronaut ice cream, Velcro ~ Plus tons more :-) Hummm, wonder how much of that is just wishful thinking or urban myth...

Not to mention bringing us close-up photos of the moon Iapetus, irrefutable proof that this solar system once had intelligent life.

Way cool. Some of the best shit comes right out of NASA. Too bad it's in Texas.
