I'm going to shock you today. I'm going to point out something nice about the fundamentalist Christians.
Y'see, it suddenly hit me: Their blinkered support for Bush amounts to blinkered support for Haliburton, since much of this administration's foreign policy is a Haliburton-enrichment program. No, wait -- scratch out the word "foreign." Katrina assures that Haliburton will reap many a domestic reconstruction dollar.
They've lost billions -- BILL-YUNS and BILL-YUNS -- of our bucks over in Iraq. If you ask where the money went, Republicans will look at you as though you just farted in church.
And now the Bush administration is trying to scare up charitable contributions for the Iraq reconstruction project. Donations to hurricane relief are, like, so two weeks ago. Save that charitable spirit for Iraq. No, they will not tell you how the money will be spent. That's really none of your business. Just rest assured that Haliburton will put it to good use.
We all know that Dick Cheney has a huge chunk of "deferred" stock in Haliburton. After he leaves office, he'll be richer than Midas.
We also know that Cheney has a heart condition. He's probably not long for this world.
After he departs this mortal coil, who will acquire his mega-millions?
Mary Cheney is poised to become the richest gay person in the world. Well -- after David Geffen. Then again, who knows? She may one day inherit a bigger wad than...
...um. Let me rephrase that.
The point is, our God-fearing red-state brethren have emptied our national treasury to enrich a lesbian. Who says they're narrow-minded?

First of all Mary's mother Lynne Cheney will inherit and then before Mary can inherit there will be the Rapture - so you see I don't think the fundamentalists are REALLY worried about enriching a Lesbian. They know it will never happen. :)
I've got a prediction: alive, dead, or vegegative, Cheney will leave office before the end of the term.
His replacement will be the sort of right-winger who probably couldn't hope to get elected to the presidency -- not even now -- without the conferred legtimacy which incumbency would lend him.
If Cheney were a Democrat and needed to be gotten rid of, they'd arrange a heart attack or a plane crash, but since he's a loyal soldier for the cause, he'll walk out on his own two foul feet, martyr to the cause of 1000 years of Republican rule. For that matter, he's probably already chosen his own replacement.
Far-fetched? We shall see.
Joseph, You seem to be forgetting about Mary's sister, June Cleaver. You know - the straight one with the husband and progeny. I'll bet Mary gets no more than a third of Dick's wad, uh, money, when it's all said and done. Now, that's still a buttload of cash, but but not the full load, if ya know what I mean. ;)

While I was searching through Blogger I came past your site, it is not really the information I was after about Womens Health but I did stay to read your blog and found it interesting and well done. Keep up the good work and hopefully I will visit again sometime and also find the information on Womens Health that I was looking for in my travels.
