Chertoff: A correction

A few days ago, I said that Michael Chertoff was a DA in New Jersey. He was, in fact, a United States attorney for the state, appointed by the first Bush. From 1994 until 2000, he was in private practice -- with a brief stint as one of Starr's Junior Inquisitors during the Whitewater pseudo-scandal. (This, in answer to the reader's question about why a DA would take on a private client such as Magdy El-Amir.)

Chertoff scares the crap out of me. Upon closer examination of recent photos (usually I just read about their exploits--looking at visuals nausiates me--I came to understand why DU.com posters refer to him as the Spawn of Satan, Son of the Devil, the Omen and Scratch. In terms of appearance, anyway, could the man BE any more reptilian?
