Last word from Moby

Singer Moby is no dick. Here's an excerpt from a recent interview (translated from the German):

"The corruption with electronic voting machines is terrible. I don´t want to exaggerate - but since the year 2000 the United States are not a democratic country anymore. In the year 2000 Al Gore won with 800´000 votes ahead. Bush took place in the office. It was a coup. And we all watched. Europe ought to march into the States to bring back democracy."
In that light, you may want to check out the commentary here.

I mostly agree with the commentary by Mike Lewis. Americans probably think of World War II and how we came out of that with a strong, functioning nation; but what you should think of is more like the slaughter of the native peoples.

However, standing behind the Democratic Party's McLeaders is hopeless. John Kerry is proven thoroughly to be no leader; he preferred conceding his rightful office to the thought that Bushist vultures would say bad things about him. Barbara Boxer has shown she can lead, but continues to work within the Democratic Party, which will squelch her leadership.

I am not a Green but also I am not, anymore, a Democrat. I don't know what to do, but would rather try and err at new things than again and again stand behind political McLeaders who bend to the will of the Bushists.

(BTW: I had no idea going into January that I would quit the Party. I'd scolded Mike Malloy by e-mail just days beforehand, for threatening, on his radio show, to quit the Democratic Party.

BTWBTW: I notice that my Chemo-Electric Trashman website is listed here as Chemo-Electric Trashcan. I like that name and will adopt it as a subtitle, so please don't change it. :) )

I agree! Europe should come into America and restore democracy..Since November, I have sent numerous E-mails to congress, asking them.."Is some other country going to have to come into America and liberate us, so that we might once again have fair elections? I find it rather amazing, that George Bush wants democracy for every country in the world, except America. He can't afford to give us fair elections, because he can't win them! America is the most powerful country in the world, and yet it's people need rescuing from a self appointed dictator, who was never elected even once by the American people. This is all still so un-friggin believable! And most of the country don't even realize what happened. They appear to have slept right through our "Grand Theft Elections"

I am certain the election was stolen -- and I believe the country as a whole is NOT red-state thinking. We are still a country that believes in tolerance and individual rights. Just look at the polls concerning Terri Shiavo. They are the very opposite of the midnight Congress debacle.
It is clear to me that we must take to the streets, quite literally, if we are ever to get our country back!
