Daniel Hopsicker has a startling new piece on the Heaven's Gate suicide cult and its alleged links to -- get this -- Saudi wheeler-dealer Adnan Khashoggi.
Now, I almost never know quite what to make of Hopsicker's work, so I send you to this story with caution. On the other hand, anything involving this crew is of interest...I've heard bizarre personal stories about both that cult and Khashoggi, but never heard the mentioned in the same sentence before.
