She's at it again...

In her new column, Ann Coulter tells us "Being nice to people is, in fact, one of the incidental tenets of Christianity (as opposed to other religions whose tenets are more along the lines of 'kill everyone who doesn't smell bad and doesn't answer to the name Mohammed')."

You judge a tree by its fruit, as a wise Jewish fellow once said. The phrase "being nice to people" describes a fruit not always spotted on the tree of Christianity. The religion has been used to justify slavery, serfdom, child labor, the Inquisition, persecution of other faiths, the Holocaust, endless wars, feudalism, enforced ignorance, exploitation, and a host of other not-very-nice things. Did I forget to mention the Crusades?

Come to think of it, when was the last time anyone accused Ann Coulter of being nice to people?

She shouldn't be so quick to complain about smelling bad. That's precisely the complaint I have about chain-smokers!
